SUMMER THEATRE CAMP

This year, our Summer Theatre Camp production is Hercules, and we’re super excited! There will be a live performance set for Friday, July 19, 2024, at 6 PM. All family and friends are invited to attend the event to cheer on our talented cast! Camp runs from July 15 to July 19, 2024, with classes running from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. It’s a whole week of fun where kids get to learn acting, singing, and all the cool things about being on stage.

Registration

  • Camp Registration: Registration cost for camp is $245 per person. Camp size is limited and reservation and first deposit must be made by June 3, 2024. Payment may be made in two installments:
    • First installment: of $125 is a non-refundable deposit and must be received by June 3, 2024.
    • Second installment: is $120 and must be received by July 8, 2024.

       

  • Early Bird Discount: Save $10 on registration fees by submitting full payment before May 28, 2024. ($235 per person)

     

  • Age Eligibility: All campers must be between the ages of 7 – 16 by July 15, 2024, to attend.

     

  • Payment: For payment please send application and a check, (or call 409.765.1894 for credit card payments) with the
    non-refundable registration fee of $125 made out to The Grand 1894 Opera House.


CAMP CLASS SIZE IS 50 CAMPERS. LIMITED SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE, NO AUDITION REQUIRED!

Camp Schedule

This residency is set up as a theatre day camp. When your child’s character is not in rehearsal they will be engaged in different activities that are related to the performance. Please see below for a sample daily schedule:

Free Bonus Workshops with Missoula Children’s Theatre Staff.

Lunch (bring a sack lunch) for workshop attendees.

12:30 – 1:00 PM

Check-in / activity for students who did not attend workshop.

1:00 – 3:00 PM

Groups will break off for rehearsal or camp crafts/activities.

3:00 – 3:30 PM

Snack break in Edna’s Room at The Grand.
(Snack items provided by The Grand unless your child has an allergy)

3:30 – 5:30 PM

PLEASE NOTE: As this camp is a week-long residency with a full performance following, campers must attend all scheduled sessions and commit to Friday evening performance at conclusion of camp.
