is the national dance company of Guinea and the first touring African performance company. Through acrobatics, comedy, and drama, the dancers and musicians blend the traditional dance, music, and story-telling of the four regions of Guinea.

is comprised of twelve young dancers, ranging in age from late teens to mid-twenties, chosen from scholarship students of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. The Repertory Ensemble serves as the bridge between school and professional careers and is known throughout the world as a showcase for spirit, energy and passion, preserving the uniqueness of the African-American cultural experience. The name of the company changed to Ailey II.
