Galveston.com Photographer, Vadim Troshkin, to Make Worldwide Debut During ArtWalk January 28th

Vadim Troshkin's photography, made famous online on both Galveston.com and the Facebook page at facebook.com/galveston/, will be displayed publicly for the first time January 28th during Art Walk on Galveston Island.

Vadim has worked for Galveston.com & Company as a website designer for the last decade, but recently his hobby of photography has catapulted him to that of, arguably, online celebrity! Almost daily, Vadim posts photos of sunrises, sunsets, birds, beaches, waves and other scenes of the island on Galveston.com's Facebook page. The interests by followers is incredible - some photos prompting scores of comments and "likes."

After receiving countless questions from fans wanting prints, Vadim finally relented when The Grand 1894 Opera House offered to feature his work at Art Walk. Framed prints, photos on canvas, matted singles, and other prints will be available for sale ranging from $10 to $500. A postcard collection featuring his photography is also currently for sale online at The Store at Galveston.com.

Galveston.com & Company will host the event at The Grand with a selection of light hors d'oeuvres and wine. If you you show up early, you might just find a few special cookies from Belarus - Vadim's favorite childhood treat!

About Vadim Troshkin...

Vadim is from Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. He graduated from The Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics with a masters degree in engineering. He currently works for Galveston.com & Company as a website designer and photographer. He lives in Galveston County with his wife Tatiana. His daughter Anna, also a talented artist, is attending Rice University.
