WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

 Families and kids of all ages are invited to The Grand Kids Festival’s pre-festival event Where The Wild Things Are on Friday April 13, 2012 from 6pm – 9pm. Held in historic downtown Galveston at the corner of 21st and Postoffice Streets, this pre-festival party offers a variety of activities as a preview to The Grand Kids Festival. A portion of the proceeds from the Friday evening preview will benefit the Galveston Island Humane Society.
Admission to Where the Wild Things Are will include dancing with our DJ, free face painting and a bounce house for the younger party-goers, as well as additional complimentary activities for kids and their families. Festival food and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at this event.
Tickets to Friday’s Where the Wild Things Are event are $10.00 per person and include admission to both the Friday evening event and Saturday’s Grand Kids Festival.
Tickets for Saturday only are $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children 5-12 – Free for children under 5. Half price tickets for Saturday only are available through April 13. Tickets are available now at The Grand’s box office in Galveston, or online at www.thegrand.com.
